Tutti Frutti Magazine is a local zine- dedicated to documenting Berlin's live alternative music scene & queer underground. In a city so known for electronic music, there was a gap when it came to coverage of live music, even though Berlin boasts one of the best live music scenes in the world. And yet, a lot of that same scene remains male dominated and heteronormative - in desperate need for a queer feminist 2000s movie makeover. Enter Tutti Frutti. Led by artist Serin Zevering, the collective releases 2 self funded zines every year since 2023, featuring reviews, articles, photos, artwork and more. The zine is an explosion of radical expression inspired by the very city it celebrates, using a mostly analog collage format, and embracing a colourful cut and paste format. Tutti Frutti are known for their parties which combine drag , live music and costumery into silly one-of-a-kind events. Tutti Frutti represents a colourful, playful world of joy and community - the often overlooked underbelly of Berlin's doom and gloom image.
