Tennis Bar Block Party is an outdoor Kiezfest that will take place on Reuterstr. between Flughafenstr & Boddinstr. on Saturday, September 5. The street will be blocked off to cars and other vehicles.

The event programming will take place outdoors. The roadway and sidewalks are cobbled and can be uneven with 16cm curbs. The event will have tented stalls and table structures lining the sidewalks, leaving the roughly 22m street totally clear as a walkway.

The south end of the street will have a 5m x 3m stage with some covered seating near the stage for accessible viewing.

Some amenities such as general WC access, beverages, and low stimulation space, will only be accessible through Tennis Bar, located on the ground floor with a small step to access the door. A ramp can be provided on request. The main entrance is 96cm wide and swings outward with no automation. The front area of the bar has seating lining all walls leaving a roughly 1m wide walk way.

The back area of the bar is accessible through a 87cm door way that swings outward with no automation and has thick vinyl flaps hanging from the frame. The back room is totally lined with seating, leaving a roughly 1m wide walk way.

There is an accessible toilet stall located inside Tennis Bar, please ask staff for assistance. 2 other toilets and 2 urinals located in the bar are not wheelchair accessible.

Tennis Bar Block Party is not a scent-reduced event.

Music programming will run from 13-20:30h and be amplified on a KV2 sound system. Earplugs will be provided.

Seating is always available during events.

The event will largely rely on natural lighting with TWO small stage lights to be used once the sun sets.

The inside of Tennis Bar is a designated low stimulation era, located at the opposite end of the street from the stage with dimmed lighting and “Stim Stations.”

Because of the event take place outside and adjacent to a major throughway, ambulances with sirens may drive past the event at random times.

The street will be cleared of parking for the event. Neukölln Arcaden & Kindl Boulevard Mainzer Str. are both within 300m of Tennis Bar. Metered street parking is available for cars in the surrounding area.

The event is accessible via public transit at the following stops: U8 Boddinstraße (350m from the venue); U7 Rathaus Neukölln, 166, M43 (450m); M41 (500m).
